Who I AM

First and foremost I am a peacemaker, a person who enjoys teaching, sharing resources and helping the people in my community. In addition to that I am a certified public accountant (CPA) with over 15 years of accounting experience. I periodically offer financial literacy workshops for individuals and finance/treasurer trainings for small businesses and non-profits that are free and open to anyone who wants to listen. I also offer financial literacy workshops for kids!

I try to stay engaged in work that serves the North Philadelphia community where I was raised. Usually this connection and involvement is centered around my home church and the local recreation center. I serve as volunteer Treasurer for a scholarship fund through my church, I help to plan a yearly retreat to empower teenage girls, I serve as an investment committee member for a large non-profit, and participate in other planned activities.
